Biden recalls “horrific” sink overflow at his mansion as he commiserates with hurricane victims in Florida

President Joe Biden demonstrated his trademark knack for empathy as he visited Florida victims of Hurricane Idalia, telling them that he too had experienced “horrific” water damage, after a plumbing problem in his mansion.

Biden noted that like the displaced Florida residents, he once had some water leak onto his floor and was forced to briefly leave the home.

“The plumber took hours to fix my leaking sink, man,” Biden said with obvious emotion.

“I didn’t even have time to drive my Corvette out of the garage before he got there, and I had to take the Mercedes.”

Biden also commiserated with those fearing for their loved ones, noting that he had almost lost his wife in the flood, which had approached a millimeter in depth at the worst point.

“And this was right after the kitchen fire that had almost killed her,” he whispered in agony.

Biden continued to share more tragic personal stories with the rapt audience, who made their desire to hear more anecdotes evident by shouting obscenities and demanding that he “get out of Florida and go back to Ukraine.”

Despite the obvious love from the listeners, his wife (who looked miraculously well for someone who apparently experienced near-deadly misadventures on a regular basis) firmly took his arm and ushered him off the stage before he could finish.
